About Joe
This is a story all about how Joe’s life got turned upside down. (lol)
All jokes aside, Joe started out life in California and grew up in Temple Texas. Here is where Joe developed his passion for all things creative to save him from his surroundings. Joe dove into his first love, music producing, at the early age of 15. Music production provide his first look into the power of a creative outlet.
Joe used this new outlet to drive him to build a better life for himself. Joe welcomed his second life love, his daughter, in 2007 and found new purpose and drive for life. Though priorities shifted he never let that keep him away from his place of escape, music.
Like most artists, Joe found himself craving more from the world of creative arts. In 2017 Joe began to explore other avenues of artistic expression through finding unwanted items and repurposing them through refinement and spray paint. As his experience with artistic repurposing continued to expand he stumbled upon a lonely piece of glass paneling. Joe nervously grabbed a storage tube, some water, and some spray paint. Little did he know that he was about to find his new artistic expressive outlet. From that point on Joe has honed his tools, skills, and mind to create some amazing works of art. Each piece is made from the emotions of the past, present, and future that can never truly be expressed.
Joe surrounds himself with artists who want to express their raw emotions through their work and works to provide a space of healing through expression. You can find a few of these inspiring folks in the 512 Art of Glass Artist Collective page.
